Who's the Boss? Part 3

Our total Consciousness

Healthy logic doesn’t permit denial or lying to oneself, or repression. That’s because a healthy ego [and I use the words interchangeably ‘logic and ego’] wants much, much more for the human being than being contained by beliefs, internal or external. There are ways that things are signaled that we are being controlled – emotional pain causing pain and syndromes, mental states that require continually drugging to suppress, the ‘caught in the rut’ feeling. Hypnotherapists deal with these things.

It is my hope to see the medical associations and mental health workers using hypnosis to deal with these things. But to do so they themselves must move past unhealthy logic.

Now some are doing so, and have done so, much to the castigation of their peers still trapped by unhealthy logic. These medical and mental health people with their healthy logic can’t help but move forward because that is the healthy development of themselves. So Dr. John Sarno talked of the mind controlling pain in the body long before its grudging acceptance by a few. Gary Schwarz PhD. conducted clinical trials of the continuance of consciousness after death, energy healing, and an intelligent energy within us all – and proved it, much to the disparagement of the ‘don’t bother me with facts’ skeptics. And hypnotists have forged ahead in their development of techniques to work with the subconscious and superconscious without being from the medical or mental health associations. People like Dave Elman have shown that many airborne allergies are produced by emotion and can be eliminated, that the subconscious hears during surgery and responds. Randall Churchill has developed the use of dreams to enter the subconscious and help a person change long standing issues. And even myself. I’m exploring how far the superconscious can extend in connecting with discarnate energy. All of us have been, and are, informed skeptics. We don’t let the comfort of an unhealthy ego or logic system prevent us from the exploration.

So in conclusion to parts 1, 2 and 3 I suggest that:
· we challenge ourselves, our industries, our associations , our societies when we are told there is only one way – especially when these industries, associations and societies coerce us into that one way through fear and assurances
· we use our very own inner tools to develop our whole integrated minds and make our own choices based on healthy logic
· we become informed skeptics until we absolutely feel the time is right for that flexible, permeable logic to be accepted
· we change our balances of power, integrate and not be at the mercy of unhealthy logic.
Hypnosis can help.

Who's the Boss, Part 2

Beyond the Box

So isn’t it time that we start to examine those cracks of light that have been sneaking into our boxes? And isn’t it time to actively resist the actions of those who insist on maintaining corrupted logic?
There is much to resist and move past. Every person who practices uncorrupted logic knows this. And uncorrupted logic is not easy or comfortable. It often involves fear of the unknown – be it in science or metaphysics or even a well-heeled job.

Our present economic crisis was created by the corrupt logic of powerful people. It certainly worked well for them. It continues to do so by feeding the fear of the people affected by their greed and unhealthy egos. So each day we hear and believe that there is only one way to solve the crisis and our fears can be alleviated by following this one way. Is it logical that some of the same people who caused the crisis are advising us on how to get out of it? Real uncorrupted logic would be finding another way. I rather think it is but it must fight against the control of industry, associations and societies.

In our own way hypnotherapists help people who have chosen to move beyond their boxes. They have chosen to change unhealthy logic, examine limitations set up by unhealthy logic, and move into healthy thinking. By this I mean healthy for the client. No hypnotherapist can control a person into being a controlled clone. No, we work with what we are brought to help the client move into the truth of him/herself. How is this done? We use the great and available tool that everybody has – the subconscious. That’s what it is there for, to help us become - logically healthy, self-responsible, self-investigating people and informed skeptics. Imagine if we become all that what the world would look like.

A client [and I hope that client is working with a logically healthy, self- responsible, self -investigating and informed skeptic hypnotist] works through the unhealthy ego with the help of the hypnotist and subconscious, is encouraged to keep the ‘box’ open until it has been thoroughly cleaned and develops ways of using his or her own tools in the subconscious. A client of such a hypnotist can use self-hypnosis independently of the hypnotist whenever required and is not chained into coming back repeatedly by the idea that only the hypnotist can do something and the client cannot. That client has found out the healthy logic involved in his or her living; can be more than he or she has ever thought possible; can know more than he or she has ever thought possible.

So the hypnotist should help a client challenge his or her conscious state and encourage and value what the subconscious provides. What is created is not a shift in the balance of power. Rather it is an integration with checks and balances, which alert a client to any movement into unhealthy logic. It is a shift in the way we perceive our world and our own consciousness.

Who’s the Boss? Part 1

The tyranny of the conscious state

As one of my friends recently put to another “Logic isn’t always right”. Of course!
It’s my belief that logic has long done more harm than good.

Ah but what do I mean by logic? There’s the good logic which tells you to wear shoes when walking on gravel roads. Or to not eat mushrooms you can’t identify. We call that kind of logic ‘no brainer’ logic. It has its place and should be more valued than it is.

Then there is the corrupted logic. That’s logic with emotions attached – corrupted logic. Corrupted logic often makes the outcome or the process turn out as those emotions dictate. We all practice corrupted logic – way too much. When we attach fear to using logic, comfort to using logic, ease to using logic then we corrupt it.

Sadly I believe that corrupted logic often dictates our lives until we find out it’s doing so. And we don’t always find this out. Corrupted logic is a labeller and an upholder. It claims a label – teacher, musician, baker, mechanic – and then it supports the label emotionally. It supports it so hard that often it excludes reality. It can even create the ‘don’t bother me with the facts’ skeptic.

It is my belief that real logic is flexible and permeable, ready to develop further as it learns more. Gravel may help fallen arches. All mushrooms aren’t poisonous. No matter the label change can be made.

One of the main things corrupted logic does is guard its territory. I think we could even call corrupted logic the ego.

Now I believe in the ego – a healthy one. A healthy ego investigates, changes, and redevelops itself. But it can’t do this alone. It requires all states of mind – particularly the subconscious state.

Corrupted logic, the unhealthy ego, will take advantage of the emotions found in the subconscious in order to inflate itself and control change. Corrupted logic is aided and abetted by industries, associations, and societies who have found it to their advantage to play to the unhealthy ego needs. These industries, associations and societies reinforce the underpinning emotions of the unhealthy ego, the corrupt logic, so money is made, products are sold, change doesn’t happen.

The only way past this impasse is thinking not outside the box but beyond it.
Corrupted logic insisted the world was flat, the sun moved around the earth, women who knew herbal remedies were witches and, even today, that torture will obtain truth. Fortunately more and more people are looking beyond the box – way past it!

Cancer – What you don’t know can hurt you Jan. 4 /09 A very long blog

Yesterday I had the sheer pleasure of talking through a cancer telemarketer. Supposedly there should be a hushed respectful silence when the word cancer is mentioned and then I should support the run, the bingo, the fashion show or the million dollar homes that the cancer society dangles in our faces to get more money so we can do things the same way and get no further along. And since this profit making institution is run by pharmaceutical interests and doctors who either don’t know or don’t want to know, or are in peril of being disbarred if they do know, it interests me very little.

So yesterday as I was being given the guilt approach I talked through the guy [who was describing breast cancer] to say why I don’t give money to such as him. After confirming that he knew he had called a hypnotherapist I then said that until the cancer society got real and 1] supported genuine medically proven modalities such as hypnosis and acid free/yeast free eating and 2] stopped obstructing the knowledge of these things through intimidation, deliberate misinformation, and inability to point people in the direction where they can be helped outside the stranglehold of flat earth medicine I want my name off his list and the cancer society would receive no support from me.

I’ve spent a long time amassing information about what else can be done to help people with cancer beat it. Royal R. Rife in the 1930’s [The Cancer cure that worked! Fifty years of suppression – Barry Lynes] discovered the cure for cancer.

“Working with some of the most respected researchers in America along with leading doctors f from southern California he electronically destroyed the cancer virus in patients, allowing their own immune systems to restore health. A Special Research Committee of the University of California oversaw the laboratory research and the experimental treatments until the end of the 1930’s. Follow up clinics conducted in 1935, 1936 and 1937 by the head of the USC Medical Committee verified the results of the 1934 clinic. Independent physicians utilizing the equipment successfully treated as many as 40 people per day during these years. In addition top cuing cancer and other deadly diseases, degenerative conditions such as cataracts were reversed. Rife had been able to determine the precise electrical frequency which destroys micro-organisms responsible for cancer, herpes, tuberculosis, and other illnesses. His work was described in Science magazine, medical journals, and later the Smithsonian Institution’s annual report.
Unfortunately, Rife’s scientific theories and method of treatment conflicted with orthodox views. His work was stopped and both the research and the treatments were forced underground.”
[The Cancer Cure that worked!, page 1, Marcus Books, Queensville, Ontario]

In the 1950’s came Wilhelm Reich PhD.. He was an eccentric, difficult man but truly brilliant.
Excerpts from Dr. Wilhelm Reich: Scientific Genius – or Medical Madman?
By Alan Cantwell Jr., M.D.
New Dawn Magazine

“The cancer work continued with the T-bacilli proving to be the key to the origin of cancer. Reich’s experiments showed that all life contains orgone energy and when this energy diminishes in the cells, either through injury or aging, the cells undergo a death process that Reich termed “bionous degeneration.” As a consequence of this degeneration, the deadly T-bacilli begin to form in the cells.”

‘Reich found that cancer cells have less orgone energy than normal, healthy cells. As the energy-depleted cancer cells break down and degenerate into T-bacilli, putrefaction of the body occurs. It is the overwhelming infection with T-bacilli and the massive breakdown of cancer tissue that causes most deaths from cancer. Cancer is literally death in the living body.’

“In July 1940 Reich discovered orgone energy in the atmosphere! In order to study the effects of this radiation, he designed a specially-constructed box to house and concentrate this energy. Boxes were constructed to house lab animals. Eventually larger boxes were constructed in which a person could sit comfortably. Reich was interested in determining the effect of atmospheric orgone energy on humans, particularly persons with far-advanced and incurable forms of cancer.”

“Despite constant attacks by the FDA, Reich pursued his experiments undaunted. He built a “cloud buster” in order to affect the orgone energy in the atmosphere. In the Arizona desert he induced rain by forcing clouds to form and disperse. Like a god, he began to control the forces of nature, as no one before him had ever done.”

“On June 5, 1956, FDA officials came to Organon. Reich and his young son Peter watched in silence as the federal officials axed the accumulators. On June 26, Reich’s many books and journals at Organon were burned by government authorities. On August 23 in New York City the final destruction of Reich’s literature took place. Six tons of books, journals and papers were burned in a scientific holocaust. And not a single major newspaper in the Land of the Free protested this unprecedented action……”

“Almost a half-century after his death, his scientific legacy persists. Reichian (Orgone) therapy is practised by some psychiatrists and psychologists. The American College of Orgonomy publishes the Journal of Orgonomy devoted to his work, and maintains a web site (www.orgonomy.org). Reich’s laboratory and burial place at Organon is now a Museum with a bookstore open to the public. Cloud-busting followers like Jim DeMeo have established an Orgone Biophysical Research Laboratory in Ashland, Oregon. The lab conducts yearly seminars reproducing Reich’s bion experiments and demonstrating Reich’s blood test procedures. “
“Reich’s T-bacilli are obviously connected to still controversial and current bacteriologic findings of so-called nanobacteria, pleomorphic bacteria, cell-wall-deficient bacteria, and mycoplasma. In addition, newly discovered bacteria have been found in the blood of all human beings. All of these microbial life forms have been implicated as possible cancer-causing and disease-causing agents. “

And then there are Edgar Cayce [Psychic/ medical intuitive] and Harry Hoxsey [herbalist]
Both these people found that certain herbs and eating an acid free diet worked! Of course those not into the spiritual realm disregarded Cayce and those controlled by the AMA discredited Hoxsey. Yet he is one of the extremely few people who took the AMA to court and won. 80% of his clients got better and nobody would speak against him. Even so the FDA closed him down. So his clinic is now in Tijuana and staffed by medical doctors and nurses.
In spite of the fact that these two people didn’t know each other they advocated the same things
The following are excerpts taken from
Killing Cancer without killing yourself Allen S. Chips DCH, PhD, Transpersonal Publishing, ISBN 1-929661-24-X

Complete exclusion of acid from eating and advocating a total alkaline diet.
“According to Cayce, Hoxsey, and a number of other nutritional and naturopathic medicine researchers, when our body fluids are acidic, it provides fertile soil, figuratively speaking, for cancer to grow. When our bodies are alkaline, cancer generally cannot grow, particularly when it’s in an inactive state as opposed to an active state.”
“ …Furthermore, a highly dangerous cellular process that takes place in every cancer patient with active cancer is the lactic acid cycle. This is what I call the “double whammy effect.” In the natural process of cancer cells’
hypermetabolic reproduction, lactic acid is produced, turning the body more acidic and thus enhancing the process. As a result, cancer patients experience a double whammy! Their body fluids were in an acidic state when they contracted cancer; the more their cancer progresses, the more lactic acid is produced, which accelerates the process. The more cancer, the more lactic acid; then more acidity, and more cancer, and so the repetitive cycle continues”.

“The book Edgar Cayce on Diet and Health was way ahead of its time; our society is just now beginning to recognize the medicinal value of diet. As a medical intuit, Edgar Cayce proved time and time again that he could read conditions in the body with the accuracy of X-ray vision and laboratory tests, even before X-rays and modern lab tests were invented. Regarding alkalinity, he states in reading 480-19:
“If an alkalinity is maintained in the system—especially with the lettuce, carrots, and celery, these in the blood supply will maintain such a condition as to immunize a person.”

And specific herbs
The consensus among naturopaths is that cancer is an immune disorder caused by an immune deficiency. A compromised immune system results from the organs, such as the liver, essentially getting clogged with contaminants (metals, toxins, etc.). So the goals of herbal medicines include “the throwing off of refuse,” as Cayce states above, by using herbs known as blood purifiers, or blood cleaners, which were recommended by Cayce and, as we will see later, by other great naturopaths at that time in medical history.”

Then there is my modality Hypnosis
While the body is getting much support from herbs and eating a non-acid diet the mind is letting go of limiting emotions which suppress the immune system. It is also mentally imaging the reduction of cancerous areas. Strangely, or not so strangely, while many hospitals use these techniques they refuse to use the word hypnosis. So we hear about relaxation mediation and guided imagery. But it is hypnosis. Hypnosis can even help with the side effects of medical treatment if the orthodox method is the choice of a client.

Steve Parkhill has written and excellent book on the use of hypnosis for cancer. Answer Cancer
He advocates regressive hypnosis and letting go [also known as forgiveness]
From Killing your cancer….
“Once an individual with cancer discovers the events that reduced the immune system’s ability to respond to foreign invaders, such as cancer cells, we can reframe and release the emotional content in their memories so the memories no longer bother them. Sometimes this results in moving through our past unforgiveness, negative emotions and perceptions that are lodged in past memories. Sometimes a regressive hypnotherapy session involves finding the parts of ourselves we lost in a memory and getting those parts back. Regressive hypnotherapy can include soul retrieval, an ancient healing art originating from Native Americans and Alaskan natives. During the process, the person seeking the healing finds positive parts of themselves that he or she lost at the time of contracting an illness, which for the cancer patient can be very effective in healing his or her illness. After going through soul retrieval the client feels much more whole.”
“Imagery is a very powerful step toward killing cancer cells, reducing tumors, and more. Customizing imagery. or having a cancer patient choose the image that will be most effective in altering their disease, is most effective. In my case, I thought that because sharks don’t get cancer, if I imagined sharks swimming in my blood and attacking the tumors, they would shrink.”

So this is my blog rant against the world trance that restricts us from knowing about excellent treatments for cancer. It is this same trance that prevents me from helping clients in the WellSpring centres across Canada. Those centres do Reiki and meditation but they will not touch hypnosis.

Quite frankly I consider failure to give people this information is medical negligence. I wish it came from lack of knowledge rather than the party line and economic profit. Imagine the disaster if eating correctly, thinking right and taking some herbs got rid of a billion dollar industry. I don’t think the cancer sufferer would have anything against this knowledge but I’ll bet we all could imagine who would work against it. And hey they’ve got big bucks- and lawyers – and million dollar lottery houses.

Still even the medicals talk about the efficacy of hypnosis work with cancer. Look it up on PubMed on line and type in cancer and hypnosis. The studies exist.

Myself if I get cancer I’m going to Mexico, using herbs, thinking right and eating acid free. Any enlightened medical doctor is welcome to join me on my trip.

HypnoViews on the News, Jan. 30, 2009 Toronto Star Did you see that? Nancy white

Any well trained hypnotist understands that the mind and the brain aren’t the same thing. Einstein PhD. theorized it. Rupert Sheldrake PhD. developed his morphogenetic theory on it. Plank PhD. espouses it. Larry Dossey M.D. has written several books with this concept as the basis – Recovering the Soul [an examination of science and spiritual understandings of the mind being separate and far more powerful than the brain.] and Reinventing Medicine. And the bravest of the bunch Gary Schwartz has proven consciousness survives death, in a university [te university of Arizona] and with scientifically done clinical studies. His book? The AfterLife Experiments.

So sorry Ms White but your take, and the Star’s take on the ‘third man’ theory is very old hat. Dare I say it is the ‘red neck theory’ of ‘don’t tell me what I don’t want to know’. Why is it that when something we don’t understand consistently appears we run first of all to scientists [usually the ones who know nothing about the situation [and there are those who do] who use Newtonian science and outdated info] to explain what is consistently appearing?

The knowledge that consciousness survives death, is separate from the brain, and can group itself intelligently is getting harder to avoid. Ms White states that Shackleton, Lindburgh, Sevigny, DiFrancseco all received necessary guidance from somewhere outside themselves at extremely important points in their lives. Dr. Vincent Lam M.D. says it happened to him and he believes it. So why isn’t this important knowledge truly examined for what it is? I don’t want to hear yet once again that the right brain takes over or oxygen deprivation causes this. I don’t want to hear this when it has been proven that this is not the case. I’d love to see Gary Schwarz interviewed when these situations occur.

No hypnotist or psychologist who has been transpersonally trained has not had these experiences. Energies and spirits do evince themselves through some of our clients. The trick is to have the sophistication to know the level of energy or spirit evincing itself because just because this info comes from ‘somewhere else’ does not mean this energy from somewhere else is a good one.

Once the shock and awe of dialoguing with this energy or spirit wears off then we need to know if it is limiting, playing around or genuinely helping. That’s why hypnotists and psychiatrists do energy and spirit release. Do they know something somebody else doesn’t? Not really? Unless they have psychic abilities they experience what everybody else experiences. But well trained transpersonal workers are aware of the energy and spiritual levels, the seeming rules under which these energies and spirits work, and how to help people manage or work with them.

That’s why I offer a Connector Training Course for those experiencing psychic abilities and who want to develop them to help others. That’s why I offer energy and spirit release to move spirits and energies on from those who are held back by them –within hypnosis.

Too much real knowledge exists about this area to be naïve.
Will we be allowed to know this knowledge? Not if religious formats and Newtonian science has its way.

Yes energies and spirits can take the form of known people and religious symbols or just plain acceptable forms [that’s how they relate to us humans] but they are not of manmade religions. Nor when this happens through my clients are their brains oxygen deprived.

Imagine what could happen to religious forms if we all knew we could access this area of ‘somewhere else’. They’d have to embrace truth and change or die out. No wonder they advocate against this knowledge. Imagine if, as Dossey and Schwartz have found, this area really does promote healing, how medicine would change and the pharmaceutical industry be curtailed.

The operative word though is change not obliterated. There is a place for all in this world and beyond it. We are seeing consciousness rise and more - knowledge seeping in that explains how wide we really are as conscious beings. It’s simply time for a true balance of our understandings. We have been out of balance for a long time. Now it’s time to take down our self-imposed walls and understand ourselves so much better.

Remember
Just because you don’t [want to] know
Doesn’t mean it isn’t so.

The World Trance – Waking up the world – how the world trance works

I’ve been told that the definition of insanity is to repeat the same system, technique, method, over and over and expect a different result. I believe no increased amount of money, armed forces, policing or drugs [and I’m sure you can think of a few more things] will change the end result if these things are simply supporting the same old systems, techniques and methods and hoping for different results. They simply amplify insanity.

When one studies hypnotherapy deeply it’s amazing how the world is understood. And I’m pleased to say that in many ways many thoughtful people from areas other than hypnosis are coming to the same conclusions.

As individuals we consist of energy which maintains our inner trances. Those inner trances are our beliefs - positive, negative, correct, incorrect and functional held in our subconscious minds. We continually feed reinforcement to these trances – usually without knowing we do. Of course when the reinforcement is for the things that make us better humans and better humanity this is great reinforcement. But our inner trances aren’t discriminatory. We reinforce the negative and incorrect as well. And then we simply react to what is going on inside.

So you may wonder what the conscious part of the mind, the one reading these words now, does. Not much. It uses rationalization, logic, decision, will power, short term memory. All else – emotions, imagination, long term memory are in the subconscious supporting our inner trances - making a drama out of living our lives.

So what does this mean to an individual? An individual who isn’t aware of the above is an unthinking reactor. That individual thinks he or she is deciding and following a course of action. More often that is simply rationalization from the conscious mind.

Let me give you an example. Smokers rationalize that smoking is calming, good for stress. Nope. It increases hand tremors 300% and of course can lead to death. Actually the smoker is reacting to stress and emotional difficulties with a coping skill called smoking.

Another example? A worker is advised to quit the work force by a medical authority due to his or her IBS or Fibromyalgia.. That worker is told that ‘nothing can be done’, he or she will ‘just have to live with it’, and lots of drugs are given. Lots of reaction here – the worker’s and the medical authority’s.

Let’s take a look.
First the medical authority – for the most part well meaning.
The inner trance of the authority is that science has spoken and there is nothing beyond what science has said. So that authority says in a reactive way with absolute inner belief ‘nothing can be done, live with it’ [even if something can be done]. So a possible cure is controlled by an inner belief both as an individual and a group trance [more further on]

Now the individual who hears these words reinforces the inner trance of IBS and Fibromyalgia. And it is increasingly being found that both of these syndromes have major emotional triggers for their existence [see John Sarno M.D. The Divided Mind]. But the individual doesn’t know this. So maintaining the trance of the syndrome is reinforced by the voice of authority, drug taking, and even self-fulfilling symptom groups.

The individual isn’t aware that he or she is reacting to an inner trigger with outer symptoms. He or she builds the walls of the reaction to such an extent that it is impossible to look at the reaction in any other way even though the proof has been given by medical authorities that there is another way to get out of he reaction.

The individual is comfortably ‘blind’ to taking on the inner trance until all the drugs, authorities and groups aren’t answering the other needs of that individual’s inner trance to be well and self-responsible. It is only then that the inner IBS or Fibro trance may be taken on. It takes courage, insight, persistence and moving against the exterior group trance to do so. I’ve worked with these individuals. They do change for the better – much, much better – but it takes kicking the inner trance and establishing a new one, being aware that those in authority may not have a clue about other methods because they themselves are reacting to their own trances. It takes working against ‘group think’ which provides the comfort of living in the symptom. It takes thinking differently – literally changing the mind.

Now let’s take reaction to inner things further. We are living with world reaction right now. Intransigent ideologies are firing reactions into wars. There is a reason the armed forces are trained to instant reactions and desensitized. That’s the military trance. And yes we do need the military but an inner trance is deliberately built into every soldier. Could this be why many suffer from PTSD when this inner trance is no longer needed?

Then we see the unthinking group think of places like Jonestown. And we see this in unbending religious formats. We see it in our world failure to think beyond the edges of the reactive trance as it reacts to satisfying greed, acquisition and wiping each other out..

In some cases science itself is challenging its inner trances. Scientists have proven life after death [the AfterLife Experiments – G. Schwartz PhD]. At least 3 people have found cures to cancer – Rife [The Rife Report] in the 1930s, Hoxsey [the Hoxsey clinics, 85% success rate, driven out of the U.S. in the 1960s – read about this in Killing Cncer without killing yourself A.Chips PhD], and Wilhelm Reich PhD [work burned]. But the somnolent world trance of continual search using the same methods reinforces itself so the other scientists simply don’t know, can’t see, or angrily react against this information. The loser of course is the public who must abide by the reactive ‘blind’ world trance of the scientific authorities.

I watched with interest the election of Barack Obama as President of the United States. Yes I reinforced my inner trance that things can be changed and hope, honesty and honour restored through this man but I question the group think about him. In a way he was hypnotically elected much like 13 year olds vote in the American idol. He became a ‘star’. T-shirts were sold. Parties held. Group reinforcement of an icon. What will happen when this icon works against group think – the world trance – because I believe he is capable of recognizing is own reactive trances and the world’s ad working to change them. It will be interesting.

There is a saying that when Captain Cook arrived at what we know as the Cook islands the natives there simply couldn’t see the ships – they were way outside their inner trance understanding of things. It was only a select few who could actually see them. Were these few the ones who challenged their world trances? I think so. On the whole though we don’t create these challengers. Despite lip service concerning individuality and individual thinking the status quo is really the area which gets the reinforcement. Nowhere do we see this more than with the media.

Yet despite the media’s adherence to the world trance [and we see it by what they exclude from information not what is included] I do believe the challengers to unthinking reaction both individually and in the world are out there. You may be one of them.

I do know that the role of hypnosis is to take on the inner trance and change it but it can only be done with the complete commitment of the person in whom the trance resides. Still it can be done and is being done more and more.

HypnoViews on the News: Women may be hard-wired to have food on the brain Toronto Star Jan. 2, 2009

Soooo….. a male scientist has made the discovery that woman are different from men – especially in their approach to food. Ho-Hum……

Once more science denies the findings of – well science – and concludes the brain is the consciousness of people. The flat earth division of science, ghettoized thinkers, are determined not to know what quantum physics, quantum mechanics, Einstein PhD., Planck PhD., Larry Dossey M.D., and Gary Schwartz PhD have theorized and proven - -- that the consciousness, the Mind, is separate from the brain.

The brain is a phenomenal computer running this bunch of energy we call our bodies. Yep it spouts out what we require to function as this bunch of energy – and often what we don’t require. It registers pain and pleasure. But it is the mind that pushes the buttons to do so and sometimes we know this and sometimes we don’t.

The ramifications of this theory could put organizations and economies on tilt so is it any wonder that it is kept suppressed? But I digress.

At the end of the article, almost as an aside, this “Wang noted that behavioural studies have shown that women have a higher tendency than men to overeat when presented with tasty food or under emotional stress.”
UmHum. Hasn’t it been women who have been most drugged since the 1950’s [the valium period]. I’d venture to say that if there was a comparison women would win on the stress bar graph.

Yes I agree that women seem to use food for far more reasons then men. Those reasons are in the subconscious, the mind, and they trigger that hard wire in the brain to eat. Isn’t it time that Wang and others stopped reinventing the wheel and started looking at energy, mind and the ways of taking control of our own triggers? I think its called self-responsibility. We are not under the control of our bunches of energy called bodies. Those bodies are under the control of our minds - us.

Wang talks about ‘cognitive inhibition’ used on study clients. Could be this was actually conscious hypnotism. We’ll never know. Hypnotism is a scary word for scientists. But hey – so is Mind.

In closing I leave you with my little rhyme

Just because you don’t [want to] know
Doesn’t mean it isn’t so.

Hypnosis succeeds with IBS and Fibromyalgia

Freedom from the syndromes of IBS and Fibromyalgia through hypnosis

Where should I start? So many people don’t know and aren’t told about the clinical testing of hypnosis in this area. Anybody can find out by calling up PubMed and typing in the word hypnosis and the syndrome. The info is there.

Due to restrictions by the medical association I can only say that hypnosis manages the symptoms of these syndromes. I have seen it ‘mange’ the symptoms to the point that the medical doctor could not find the fibro points any more. I have seen hypnosis ‘manage’ IBS to the point that long journeys have been taken and social occasions enjoyed again. If that’s ‘management’ I’m all for it,

What kind of client is successful? What does it take to ‘manage’ fibro or IBS with hypnosis?

The kind of client who succeeds in using hypnosis who works with the Innisfree hypnosis methods is strong minded. This means that this client expects to use inner resources, do reading, challenge the issue, and definitely challenge the world trance thinking of anybody who told this client he or she would just have to live with it and nothing can be done about it. They don’t have to live with it. Everything can be done about it.

This client has the emotional courage to hunt down emotional triggers and doesn’t give up if the issue gives a bit of a fight back [and it will at the very first when it is challenged]. This person is also willing to work with the medical doctor or naturopath to reduce meds as he or she feels she is winning the war. After all if this client had been successful with meds he or she wouldn’t be working with me.

If special eating is required [as in IBS a program] this is done as long as needed. If doing things that have been put aside due to anticipation of pain [as in Fibro] they are begun again.

It’s a done deal. The successful client does this. A successful client expects to be a large part of winning the war not having hypnosis happen to him or her.

And the program? Usually this is 8 sessions. Mostly they occur every other week. Most important is the coaching and dialogue done on email between these sessions as well as the listening and techniques taught.
During the sessions lots of conscious dialogue and common sense occur. You find your own stumbling blocks.
Within the session will always be hypnosis aimed at changing your mind and changing your body.

It works.

Innisfree has the successful past clients to attest to it.

HypnoViews on the News Jan. 15/09 - 'Smart' T.V harms Babies' brains Toronto Star
"He noticed the baby was mesmerized by the light and sound show, and wondered why, since he 'obviously didn't understand what was being conveyed'.” This said by Dr. Dimitri Christakis in the report found on the front page of the Star Jan. 15/09.
Well I don't know what part of me becomes angry first - the teacher or the hypnotist.

So to the teacher.
Since the advent of T.V. and the increasing childcare it has been used for teachers have complained about its detrimental influence on children. Sexuality [for the most part more enacted than pursued] has moved to a far younger age. Children in grades 2 and 3 diet, dress and enact what older people are doing. Violence [easily seen on the news - death, destruction, - and cartoons - death, destruction] has been so sanitized and the child so desensitized that a built in barrier to doing it has been lowered way too far. And of course the ability to focus quietly for long periods of time to learn something [without T.V. special effects and dare I say even boring [but necessary]] has gone the way of the Dodo.

When this learned subconscious problem is noted more money is made from drugging the child into docility and giving the child the title of ADD/ADHD. But keep that T.V. going: keep the unwholesome food supplied and don't change the family way of doing things. Drugs will give the adults the instant gratification they all need. Give them peace. Drug the child.

And the victim? the child. It's why I wrote a series of stories involving special hypnosis techniques for a child to listen to and start to take back his or her own inner mindscape. Take it back from the media with media.

Now as a hypnotist the reason I'm angry.
Why oh why does it take a medical doctor to say this - a medical doctor who knows nothing of hypnosis or the subconscious. The studies and books [about using hypnosis to help children] have been written since the 1970's [yes by medical doctors but also educational specialists] telling how easy it is for children to be hypnotized [mesmerized] since they are really operating from their subconscious minds until about the age of 7. Hypnosis is wonderfully beneficial to children at this age - but because they are at that point anyway great adult responsibility must be taken to guard the child's subconscious mind.

And the subconscious loves repetition, modeling and surprise among other things. At that early age it is easily molded into ways of being and seeing. And people are amazed then that kids can't create play on their own without playgroups or adult interference or that they just want to sit mindlessly at a computer keyboard or in front of reruns, or with DVD games, eating, moving into childhood obesity, and saying school is 'boring'.

But fear not. Drugs can be bought and big Pharma supported to force that subconscious into quiescence - and believe me it is only the subconscious that can change the child for the better.

So lots of money is being made here.
Media isn't going to stop. It has lots of lawyers [just like the cigarette companies] to say it is beneficial to kids. Doctors aren't going to stop labeling. Parents aren't going to stop the easy drug quick fix. Schools aren't going to fight against the 'mesmerized' child. And big Pharma won't stop pumping out the pills. This won’t change unless we as responsible adults get out of the world trance we are living and challenge media. I know David and Goliath – but it must start somewhere.

It is only a small group of people who are seeing out of this world trance, realizing they have been mesmerized into the party line, status quo, but they are determined to step outside the box [and I mean TV., hostile music, social selling to babies, fast food and drugging] to help the child's subconscious regain the purity it started with. As this grows we will we see responsible children become responsible adults - and I believe much better adults than we have now.

Clinical Hypnosis -Smoking Cessation

Yes it can be done through hypnosis. Once or twice I've seen people who quit with one session - but not in my work.

Unfortunately media and medicine make a dramatic deal about people being chemically addicted. That hasn't been my experience when I work with smokers. It takes about 3 days to get rid of the chemical craving. Most people can do that. They do it much easier when hypnosis reduces or eliminates the cravings and they work consciously on following healthy suggestions to aid the process. After all nobody gets addicted to the nicotine patch.

The big obstacle I've found is the emotional addiction and belief in the comfort smoking has given. Smoking is a crutch for any emotion. And getting rid of the crutch is often the equivalent to losing a friend. I think that's why so many good stop smoking programs fail [or do they? isn't it the person who fails?]

When I work with person to stop smoking the first thing we do is kill the drama. No cold turkey. No anguish over cravings - just 4 sessions to reduce and stop with reinforcement cds and contacts between them.

Hypnosis has the highest score in stopping smoking but it only comes out at 80%.
I'd like to see it higher.
Any tips for how to make a good program better will be gratefully received.

Clinical Hypnosis - Weightloss/ emotional eating

I have never had the experience of working with a person who wasn't addicted to food for emotional reasons. I was addicted to food for emotional reasons. I’m told if a person just eats unthinkingly, without an emotional connection the weight just drops off and healthy eating is quickly mastered. Not my personal experience or those of my clients!

It took EFT and self-hypnosis to cure me of my emotional need for food - as well as getting on my treadmill. It worked. It wasn't easy. I had to have the courage to look at my past and release old angers, hurts and even desires. No matter how justified I felt in holding the emotions –then - they didn't serve me now. And the solution, then, was to eat and release endorphins to feel better. You can see it was easy to get into the habit.

I no longer do this. Am I thin? No. I have a different relationship with my body. It is in good physical health and I have more important things to do than put every priority on weight loss. However I do work t it, in moderation.

The clients I see have a lot of uncovering to do to find their eating triggers. Then they have conscious changes to make in daily life. I respect them a lot because 1] I've been there and 2] constant attention to thoughts and feelings must be given for at least 6 sessions – and that’s hard work..

Some hypnotists do far more sessions than this but I feel that a good start off and self-responsibility, as well as tune up sessions if needed, is more realistic. I stay in touch several times between sessions and give reinforcement cds and subliminals for between sessions so the subconscious is constantly being given instructions for change.

What have your weight loss experiences been using hypnosis or other modalities?

Thinking About Past Life, InterLife and Future Progression

As we study consciousness – seriously many of our previously held [and cherished] beliefs are changing. I was particularly impressed by the self described changes that Gary Schwartz PhD. experienced in his book The Energy Healing Experiments. He moved from an open minded ‘agnostic’ [show me the proof] to a believer in spiritual energy healing [I’ve got the proof]. It wasn’t easy he had to set up many experiments with many other scientists to satisfy himself – and he did. The proof is there that we are energy, that energy continues that energy can be directed with intent.

Sometimes that energy displays itself by communicating through family forms who have died [the AfterLife Experiments – Schwartz]. Sometimes that energy is worked by Spiritual Collectives. But Schwartz saw it happen, directed energy himself and ran the experiments to prove to him this was/is so.

It’s not too far to move to consider the great repository of that energy. We’ve considered it for years. That repository connects to us all. Since we are energy we have a constant feedback loop where we send into the energy and take from it. And what we send is stored. There are so many names for it.

What do we call this? Religious forms have their names for continuance and their beliefs in how this operates and why this is so. I don’t operate from that stance. I just feel if everything is stored therefore nothing is forgotten. And since this energy doesn’t depend or operate on a time continuum then all that is stored can be accessed I world time as if it is happening now. I’ll call it Cosmic Consciousness.

This means that lives lived [I use the world time here] that have some influence on the one we are focused in now can be reviewed and influences cut - where needed. Hypnosis provides both the access and the cutting.

Is a trip to a past life always authentic? No – but much more so than not. When it isn’t authentic it is a wonderful healing metaphor from the subconscious. In the eyes of a hypnotist the journey has done the work either way. Some researchers have gone to the trouble of proving these ‘past’ experiences. The books are there.

But let’s say a past life is authentic. The client progresses to the transition and beyond. Here is a new thing to ponder – the InterLife.
It does seem that this energy world of the total Cosmic Consciousness which we have feedback to has an intelligent core [ sometimes called the ‘council’, but not like any council we can conceive of]. When a client moves to the InterLife that core is experienced and learning about path, purpose, and choice can occur. Sometimes advisors are experienced. Sometimes known beings appear [usually for the client’s comfort since they are recognizable forms]. Sometimes the knowledge just comes. Again it is the knowledgeable hypnotist who helps the client get ‘there’.

And what of future progression – moving into the future? Psychics do it with clairvoyance. Clients do it in hypnosis when they see themselves with habits changed. How does this happen? It seems that again the timeless energy field of Cosmic Consciousness is at work here.

Can any client move into this ‘non-local’ area – change focus from local to non- local? Anybody who is willing to suspend belief and judgment can do this to certain degrees. There do seem to be Universal Laws at work here that to this present time we ‘locals’ don’t really understand.

But we are starting to understand. Our scientists are investigating. Our world population is looking – no longer restricted by the world trance of old beliefs and forms. Will we always do this right? LOL.

We are on an exploration trip here. There will be many misconceptions, misjudgments and wrong beliefs as we truly and powerfully use Past Life, InterLife and Future projection. This was and is the way in medicine as well.

Long live the journey! What interesting times we live in.

Predictions, the coming changes [or not] & our superconscious role as hypnotists

Well we are seeing the economic changes predicted by Edgar Cayce. Newspapers are reporting the increasing importance of psychics to people. And many ways of thought have spoken of the time 2012.
I'm seeing this gearing up through the number of people coming to me with psychic abilities. Also as a hypnotist now involved in helping the spirits/energies come through people who are willing for this to happen I'm getting a lot of information from the spirits themselves. This stretches my paradigms pretty far - but I do believe this. I'm thinking we hypnotists are on the forefront of helping the consciousness changes predicted, releasing the NE's and developing new ways of working with the mind. What are your feelings about all this?

Remote Healing - health intuitive spiritual energy work

What is remote healig? It is the transference of energy to change your energy for the better – at a distance [sometimes around the world]. Edgar Cayce did it from the 1920's to the 1940's. Energy healers do it. And scientists are studying it see The Energy Experiments - Gary Schwartz PhD at the University of Arizona. Based on this concept the CIA employed and trained psychics to remote view - usually other countries' defense systems. Look up Russel Targ PhD about this. When the program was disbanded some of these psychics went into police work - finding lost children and people and some even went into archeology.

The concept is based on the quantum physics finding that some things happen instantaneously with energy. Larry Dossey M.D. is another person looking at this seriously. His book Recovering the Soul, where he looks at the findings of physicists, discusses testing this.

Even so when I began doing this with a Connector/psychic and a channeled spirit it was hard to believe that something beyond my office was happening - and indeed it was.

Physical systems, emotions and attachments were scanned in people as far away as Florida. And the feedback showed that the information was correct. Then advice was given about regular medical procedures to look into, emotional changes to be made - and sometimes [and this is growing] physical interventions have been done.

Hypnosis can make a good Psychic a very good psychic.

Can hypnosis help a psychic be a better psychic? I know so.

I certainly didn’t know when I began my hypnosis work, that those who had a talent to access another dimension would find hypnosis a great way to whet their skills. I wasn’t even sure I believed this when it happened to me. Now I do.

The first time this happened with me was when I was working with a smoking client [I didn't know she was also a psychic.] In taking her to a time before she smoked she slipped into a past life as a minor aristocrat in Elizabethan times. [We actually did 3 subsequent sessions on 'Louisa's' life].

In letting go of the antagonists in Louisa's life one of them addressed me specifically. [Now I know it was a negative energy. I didn't then]. After quite a tussle [and using a very limited knowledge of how to do this - then] the NE was sent on. In its place came a little middle European lady called Anya who thanked me for the help. She went on to be quite a health intuitive in the client.

Of course this led me to find out as much as possible. I am now at the point where I help spirit come through if the person knows she or he is psychic and is well balanced and of good intent.

And the spirits which come through? Most of the Connector clients who work with me are unconscious channels. They work for several months with me and at home to open to the very highest spirits which can come through. As the Connector develops higher vibrations so does the spiritual ‘power’.

I’ve found out many things as I work in this area. One thing I’ve found is that there is a reason why this is happening and the spirit [often a collective of spirits] is coming into being in our local minded world. Another thing is that this Spiritual energy has a mandate. This could be that it works in the area of healing, information or any other needed thing. It is impossible to change the mandate.

The Spiritual Collective can be surprising. For our comfort level it will begin with a human persona and talking about itself as ‘I’. As it evolves it calls itself ‘we’ and involves other spirits. Unlike preconceived ideas about what this would look like, what it is is usually compassionate, humorous and sometimes very firm. There is even a tendency on the human’s part to grow used to the SC – as if dialoguing with a good friend.

Spirit and energy release - removing intelligences sticking to us.

No this isn't an exorcism as seen in Hollywood movies. No this isn't something a church does. Yes it is happening all over the world [non-religiously]. So what's it all about?
Well from the hypnosis point of view these are what are believed to be the facts.

For some reason a spirit doesn't move on after the transition [death]. This can be for deep love of a person, unresolved issues, feeling unworthy or even non-belief that the soul survives death. This spirit can 'haunt' places and be seen or felt in them. This spirit can also attach to people - even people not known by the spirit. This seems to happen in hospitals, bars and schools, any place where large group of people gather and strong emotions felt.

And attachments aren’t unusual. We carry them around like bacteria. Occasionally the feelings of the spirit influence our feelings. We may develop aches and pains and emotions that we say simply 'aren’t us'. It probably isn't. A hypnotist trained in this area can either work with you directly within hypnosis to release energies/spirits or can use a deeply hypnotized person or psychic to do this remotely for you. Spirits ALWAYS go to the Light [sometimes with a bit of discussion beforehand]

Now the other kind of attachment is a negative energy attachment. Some NE's are actually spirits buried under layers of negativity and they can be brought to the light. Most aren't. They affect a person negatively. There's a belief that addictions, mental problems, even crime could be influenced by NE's. They range from unthinking 'slugs' to extremely intelligent evil entities. They are NOT demons. We made them ourselves with the negative thoughts and actions we do. There is NO devil although when taking these energies on they will say there is and try to induce fear.

They ARE removed - but sometimes with quite an argument. No head spinning and green vomit though.
This is not an area a hypnotist should enter without strong training and mentoring. It can be dangerous.

De-Ghosting your house, land, business.....

I like to call unexplained happenings the ‘bump in the night’ experiences. There sure are a lot of them now. I don’t know if this is because we are becoming more willing to discuss them or that things are changing in our world.

Many people are seeing relatives who have passed on, angels and all good things. Some people are experiencing those who passed on in a negative way or living in a painful energy imprint of things that happened in the past. Then there are people who are experiencing things physically. Houses are being given up. People are in fear. I don’t believe this has to be lived with.

All my life I have read deeply about psychic experiences. I prefer really well evidenced ones and really well investigated ones. I am not a psychic and pretty grounded about things. But in doing the work I do I experience things that require superconscious explanations. This seems to have much to do with the energies I work with.
Fortunately most of my life I have kept bookstores dealing in this area afloat and red a lot about the ‘bump in the night” experiences. I was amazed to find serious scientists have looked into this area. It certainly is the reason for a whole branch of science called parapsychology.

Of course my reading and experiences led to more things. I often found clients and individuals telling me of strange things happening to themselves and where they worked or lived. In a previous blog I discussed removing attachments from people. The same training lets me de-ghost a house, land or place of work – remotely. It’s interesting work. Great to bring peace back to a place.

Complete Profile - Feir Johnson B.A., DCH., CHt.

I was a teacher of 33 years before embarking on my second career as a hypnotherapist. I taught English, music – and thinking. As an enrichment teacher specializing in how people think, it was my job to teach children about their thinking, and teachers how to use many methods in order to engage the children’s minds. I became very involved in the study of consciousness through doing this work. Upon retirement I continued my interest by taking basic training to be a hypnotherapist and continued this education by studying for 3 years of further research, - attaining the degree of, Dr. of Clinical Hypnotherapy (Am.).

Through continual exploration of the altered state area I have found that it represents the mind, and that mind and brain are not the same. Like Einstein, Eckhart Tolle, Larry Dossey MD., Jung and Deepak Chopra I believe the Mind is the collective unconscious, the Whole whatever word or title seems appropriate. It is new or not so new concept of God. When working with hypnosis the client deliberately chooses to change focus from the logical immediate into the non-local state of his or her individual mind. There is no limit to how far a person can move within his or her individual mind or the changes that can be made. But the movement and changes are entirely up to that person.

So with the partnership of the client we journey into is or her mind which retains all memories right from conception and we can journey even further into the larger Mind and explore Past Lives, the InterLife and even facilitate psychic communication to and from that Mind. Yes what I’m saying is that we are one and One at the same time. We have our individual minds which in someway blend with the Mind – thus giving us access to all information, insights and wonderful things.

But as said before it is the client who determines how far we penetrate the individual mind. When I work with IBS and Fibromyalgia it is only the individual mind that is required. When I work with recurring nightmares and phobias even business limitations and problems in relationships etc. sometimes we need to go further, move into the Mind to see what was brought from a Past Life that is limiting the client.

Yes I have seen, experienced, and released energy and spirit attachments. The shadow side of the Mind is that we humans throw out a lot of negative energy which can collect, take on a kind of consciousness and stick to us affecting health, mind, and emotions. There are spirits which need help in moving into the whole. This is the area of ghosts. I am not alone in this work. There are many hypnotists and psychiatrists doing this with varied levels of success. Training for it too varies in levels of quality. Indeed the need for this work has greatly accelerated and the training must change accordingly. It is not safe work for the hypnotist. It seems though that a well trained hypnotist who understands his or her role with the Mind should be greatly in demand in this area.

Of course I couldn’t explore the Mind and spirit and energy release without talking to a few. Under their advice I have begun working with people who know they have psychic abilities and feel called to use them for the good of all. I developed Connector hypnosis which helps these Connectors bring through the very highest level of spiritual energy that is their path to do. And the graduates of this program are becoming health intuitives and information sources. Without doubt the Spiritual collectives which come through them speak of The Message [the cresting of consciousness in the world which will bring more Mind - human communication, earth changes, economy changes, etc.] and all of our roles regarding this.

It would seem I must spend my time ‘contemplating my navel’ doesn’t it – but not so. Most of my practice is spent with the common issues of human life – human relationships, aches and pains, syndromes, fears, desire for change – and as you’ve seen on my site message I am successful with the people who really commit and work at ‘changing their minds’. Using hypnosis is not wishful thinking. The way I do it at Innisfree means taking mental and physical action [even when studying in the Connector program].

Anyway I just thought I’d give this profile so you would know where I’m coming from as I discuss the many things that interest me from a hypnotic point of view. There are so many! The inadvertent trances of the world which cause fixed thinking and ongoing war. The ‘false clarity’ of medicine which keeps examining the same things over and over rather than looking outside the box. The ‘wonderful’ time we are living in which is opening our individual and collective minds to so much more.

I encourage you to blog with me about these things and more. I welcome open minded discussion about things hypnotic and the trance of the world. I do not invite dogma or negativity so feel free not to be on this blog if this pertains to you. We all have the right not to be involved. Should this kind of response be noted it will be deleted.

Welcome all you ‘open-minders’ to have your say in a safe place.
